About Gary Wilson
Gary and Susie Wilson have been teaching pre-hospital care for over 20 years, initially in the UK before moving to Australia in 2008.
Gary is an experienced paramedic and clinical educator with a range of experience gained from undertaking a range of roles in both statutory ambulance services and private organisations, including primary response, paramedic mentor, tutor, clinical support, senior clinician and training director.
He holds a Masters of Health Professional Education along with a Graduate Diploma in Education (Post-compulsory education and training) and a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Simulation Facilitation. He is also an ACLS and PALS Instructor Trainer and course coordinator for the Pediatric Education for Pre-hospital Professionals (PEPP) programme.
Gary is also an Accredited Professional Photographer from Western Australia undertaking both corporate and lifestyle assignments along with editorial design and layout work. A qualified professional photographer since 1996, Gary started his photographic career undertaking press and editorial photography for trade and business magazines before establishing his own general practice photography company. Back in a time before digital photography, Gary taught the technical aspects of 35mm and medium format photography before witnessing the start of the digital photography revolution, and, apart from personal work, now utilises a digital workflow.
