The Pre-hospital Adult Airway Management course has been specifically designed for paramedics who want to refresh and practice their airway skills. The 2-day practical, hands-on programme has been developed to meet the specific needs for healthcare professionals in the pre-hospital environment. With a focus on technical skills, decision making, communication and teamwork, the programme aims to provide the skills required to manage adult patients’ airways in emergency situations.

The course includes pre-reading, pre-course MCQs, e-learning and classroom lectures but the main focus will be the practical skill stations and scenarios to develop hands-on expertise in airway management techniques and decision making in an emergency. The pre-course leading and 2 days of face-to-face education provides 20 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours.
